Pioneer Academics Research Project on AI, Mentored by Leshui He, Associate Professor at Bates College
10th Grade
Through the Pioneer Research Spring Group Program, a collaborative research paper and presentation were developed, examining AI technologies and their societal impacts.
The work focused on patterns of AI bias and their effects on women’s rights and educational inequality, combining ethical analysis with AI. This project facilitated international student collaboration, research mentorship, and interdisciplinary work on technology, society, and human rights.

Heritage Augmented Reality (AR) Project
11th Grade
The Heritage Augmented Reality (HERA) project developed an app using augmented reality to enhance children’s understanding of cultural heritage.
The project combined technology, education, and design to create interactive experiences and was selected for presentation at the HCI International 2025 Human-Computer Interaction Conference.

John Locke Institute Essay Award, Economics: "The Emergence of Homo Economicus: Historical Transformations from Primitive Societies to Capitalist Systems"
11th Grade
Received the John Locke Institute Essay Recognition Award in Economics for a paper titled ‘The Emergence of Homo Economicus: Historical Transformations from Primitive Societies to Capitalist Systems,’ which analyzed the link between private property rights and human rights violations across historical societies.
